Once, while waiting for the Arthajama Pooja at the Chidambaram temple, I had to read the Nadi(palm leaf) for someone in private reading. In the private Nadi reading, Agasthya Peruman came and said a common subtlety. we will give it below for all the devotees to know.

My son," I will explain one thing in a subtle way. No one has explained it.! If you sit/sleep here on the full moon and new moon days, you will hear the sound of a Lord Shiva’s drum ! You will hear the sound of walking, and you will hear the sound of an anklet. It is true that he roams here. Lord Shiva can be heard walking here. Only the wise know this. No one else knows.

I will explain another explanation in a very subtle way. No one has explained this either. He will come here at night and sit for a while, then he goes to Annamalai. Then the Lord will roam around there. Then he will go to Kanchipuram, which is called Ekambaram. From here he will go to Kalathiri (Kalahasti). After that, he will take a bath in Thiruvanaikaval early in the morning."

The surprising thing about this is that this Palm Leaf was read on an Amavasya Tithi, in Chidambaram. When the reading was recorded, the sound of a drum was also recorded in the background. Only a few people have the privilege of realizing it.
